Tell us something about yourself.
I grew up in Brezovica, on Šar Mountain, and never learned to ski.
What inspired you to become a community assistant/ the assistant to the coworking space manager, and how has that impacted you so far?
I got the position through a recommendation from a friend who worked at Nova Iskra Savamala. Initially, I had no experience working in a coworking space and felt quite nervous. Over time, that uncertainty faded. This assistant role has helped me develop my social skills and step out of my comfort zone, working with people from various fields.
What is the best part of the job, and what motivates you every day?
The best part is having the first morning coffee on our terrace! What better motivation?

A special moment for me was celebrating Nova Iskra's tenth anniversary at Kvaka 22, a few months after I started working. It was an icebreaker event with current and former Nova Iskra employees. Everyone received a medal for their unique trait; mine was for "Best Etch and Sketch." There was singing, dancing, and overall a fun time with the team. I even earned the MVP title that night. I also became best friends with a former colleague, and we often get mistaken for each other as we're both short, curly-haired girls.
Is there anything else you would like to say about yourself or your professional journey?
I'm currently in my final year at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, specializing in photography. I wish to continue in this field but also dream of entering the world of dance and performance. I have many other interests, but I won't reveal them all just yet.
