A lover of music, creative work, art, constant exploration, and ideas that improve society.

For over a decade, I have been engaged in the creative industries and the cultural sector, and this month I got my PhD on the topic of music in video games at the University of Arts in Belgrade.

What do you currently do and what does your position include?

I am currently engaged as the program manager of the mentorship program The Bridge within the Music4Change project, which is intended for PhD students and postdocs in music from around the world. The program helps them develop their ideas and projects with mentor support, aiming to facilitate their transition to the job market after completing their studies. Additionally, I am responsible for designing and implementing activities and additional educational content and events aimed at empowering members of the Creative Mentorship alumni network, as well as anyone interested in our organization’s work and mentorship in culture, arts, creative industries, and media.

What motivates you in the work you do?

Working with amazing, kind, and inspiring people, constant learning and improvement, and providing support and empowerment to people who make positive changes in society.

What do you do in your free time?

Dancing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Do you want to share anything about yourself or your work?

I consider my day fulfilled if I have learned at least one new thing or done something nice for someone in my environment (or a random passerby). I deeply believe in the power and strength of community, and I am very glad to be part of the Nova Iskra community, which constantly supports and inspires the people who belong to it.
